Improper grading had caused significant cupping in the driveway, concentrating stormwater and creating severe washout and erosion. To correct the underlying issues, the driveway was completely restored, raised approximately 8 inches, widened by roughly 2 feet, properly graded and crowned to shed water, and a drainage swale was created to redirect runoff away from the driving surface. New limestone was then placed, graded, and compacted to create a stable, long-lasting surface. The after photo was taken approximately one month after completion, following several severe storms, demonstrating how well the corrected grading and drainage performed.

Do I need to replace all my gravel, or can it be reconditioned?
In most cases, your existing gravel can be reworked, regraded, and reshaped rather than fully replaced. We will evaluate your driveway and advise whether reconditioning will be sufficient or whether additional material is needed.
Will you remove the grass and weeds growing in my driveway?
Yes. Clearing grass, weeds, and other vegetation from the driving surface is a standard part of every reconditioning and restoration project, not an extra charge. We clear the surface before regrading and reshaping so growth is much slower to return through the reworked gravel.
How long does a typical driveway take?
Most reconditioning projects are completed within a single day. Larger restorations involving new material, drainage work, or extended lanes may require additional time, which we will outline for you in advance.
What causes potholes and washboarding in the first place?
These issues typically result from a combination of factors: a lost crown that prevents proper water drainage, inadequate base material, and repeated traffic along the same wheel paths. Our approach addresses the underlying cause rather than simply resurfacing the problem.
